Olde Painting Expertise

My name is Paul Adkins. In 1992, I started my company Olde England Painting working in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill areas of Boston. I had just moved to Boston from the U.K. and was looking to apply my well-honed skills as a house painter I gained working on older houses in England. Soon, I was fortunate to start work on some beautiful homes around Crystal Lake in Newton. As neighbors got to see the quality and high standards of our work, they reached out to retain the services of Olde England Painting. Our customer base grew fast. Sometimes, we would paint 4 or 5 houses on just one street. So far, we have painted over 200 houses in the neighborhoods of Newton being referred mostly by word of mouth.

We are grateful to our loyal customers for so many rave reviews left for us on Angie’s List. Their feedback lead us to expand our business and bring high-quality residential painting to Chestnut Hill, Wellesley, Belmont, Milton, and other prominent towns and neighborhoods around Boston.

How We Work

I work with a small crew of skilled workers including a professional carpenter who does expert repairs that are sometimes required before painting can begin. I personally work on every job ensuring consistent high-quality results.

Paul and his team (Joe and Bruno) painted the exterior of my home, fixed some plastering issues inside the house, rebuilt a significant portion of my porch and also painted inside the home. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Paul was professional and was on site for the entire job that lasted over a week. Paul and his team did a great job. I used them to paint the exterior of the house, shutters and windows. They also painted my fence.
